About us

Since 1956 we work in the market of wrought products made from aluminium-based light alloys, complying with national and international standards and with the specifications required from our customers.

We are specialized in aluminium hard alloys for trade sectors and where high quality standards are required: Automotive, Marine, Aerospace, Mechanic, Precision Mechanics, Sports and Climbing sectors.

Our experience and know-how, acquired in more than 60 years of history, allow us to face any new project with adequate expertise and awareness.

The control on the whole production cycle, which starts from the foundry and continues at the extrusion and drawing departments, allows us to offer to our customers a complete personalization of the products, in terms of chemical composition, mechanical characteristics, dimensional tolerances, packaging and possible further tests.

We feel as an integral part of the community where we work with the utmost respect for the environment and for people. We are constantly looking for better production standards and for the best technology solutions available in order to grant a lower environmental impact, a reduction on energy consumption, a better quality of life for our staff and the community around us.

Day after day we pursue our commercial, production and quality objectives, without neglecting the respect for the environment and the community in which we work.
Aluminium is the greenest metal on the market: resistant, an excellent thermal and electrical conductor and endlessly 100% recyclable.
At Metalba Aluminum, we focus on producing high quality aluminium alloy products, using selected scraps coming from the recycling of other production and commercial activities.
Looking to the future also means respecting the environment: for this reason, Metalba Aluminum is focused on the continuous waste reduction and environmental impact, with constant monitoring and prevention, in compliance with current legislation.

The production process

Through semi-continuous casting and homogenization heat treatments, our foundry, located in Longarone in the heart of the Dolomites, supplies the raw material to the Bassano del Grappa plant.
Here the billets are converted into extruded or drawn bars with regular geometries or according to customers’ drawings. The subsequent straightening processes, heat treatments, packaging operations and rigorous quality controls complete our production process.
